If they don’t notice you the first time it may be because they were staring into a cup of coffee or something (the waitress’ cleavage). You just have to dust off those high heels and stomp (gracefully walk) by again. By then they should be so floored by your shining presence that they think you are God’s gift to men. Should that too fail, you may ascribe them to being blind, or simply stupid. The thing is, in life, some people simply won’t see you. Even if you trip by in high heels wearing a mini-skirt, fall straight into their lap and pull down their coffee pot with a crash, they won’t notice. They won’t see you because in their kind of world you don’t exist. Sometimes, just sometimes, it’s important to remember that you are the sunshine and in their world there are only clouds. Even if that isn’t true, so long as you believe you are the sunshine, soon you will be surrounded by people who see you as such.
Shine on baby, shine on.
